Project summary

The site was identified by Windlab Systems in late 2007.

The site is currently undergoing pre-feasibility assessment. Wind monitoring tower locations have been identified and permits have been filed. Upon approval, monitoring of the site can commence.

An initial environmental assessment of the site indicated that some conservation measures may be required due to the presence of some at risk birds and bat species. Additionally, the First Nations group is currently in treaty negotiations at the moment with the provincial government.
