Windlab is pleased to announce the appointment of Dipolelo Elford as a Director of Windlab South Africa.

Ms Elford was formerly the Chief Director of Environmental Affairs at the Western Cape Government's Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning(DEADP- South Africa) where she spearheaded the development of the Western Cape Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan and the Western Cape Sustainable Energy Strategy. During her time with DEADP, she played an instrumental role in capacitating and mobilising wind energy stakeholders in the country.

The appointment forms part of Windlab's strategy to be the leading wind farm developer in Southern Africa. Apart from her executive role, Ms Elford's core responsibilities at Windlab will be government and community engagement.
