Windlab founders Dr Keith Ayotte and Dr Nathan Steggel have been named as Eastern Region winners of the CleanTech Entrepreneurs of the Year. They will now compete in the Nations finals of the EY 2010 Australian Entrepreneur of the year.

Keith and Nathan founded the business in 2003 with the support of the CSIRO. Since that time the company has grown to operate in Australia, South Africa, USA and Canada. The pairs' leadership in developing Windlab's current financial strength, focus on technology and strong track record helped secure the award.

Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year is the the world's most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs.
