Upper Burdekin Wind Farm is located approximately 150km east of Greenvale and 70km inland from Ingham in North Queensland. Windlab estimates the project site will support up to 136 wind turbines to capture a 950MW wind resource within cattle grazing country that is traversed by an existing 275kV transmission line.

Windlab has completed on-site wind monitoring and assessment activity since 2018, undertaken the technical studies required for project feasibility and completed environmental studies to understand and manage the potential impact.
